Manuscript Features

The number 65 has been assigned to two consecutive folios. From the verso side of the second of these folios, two foliations are given, an older one in the upper left-hand and lower right-hand corners (the latter of the two being crossed out) and a newer, corrected one in the lower right-hand corner.

Fols. 1–9v are in Devanagari script; fols. 9r– 65r (exp. 65b) is in Newari script. Fol. 65v (exp. 66t) is blank; fol. 65r (= fol. *66r, exp. 66b) to the end is again in Devanagari script. The first four lines of fol. 65r (= fol. *66r, exp. 66b) repeat the last portion of the Jananādisaṃskārapaṭala recorded on fol. 65r (exp. 65b). The Devanagari and Newari portions are written in different ink and seem to be in different hands.
